  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth (Halal)

  • to taste Salt and pepper
Optional Toppings
  • to taste diced tomatoes
  • to taste shredded lettuce
  • to taste pickles
  • to taste additional cheese

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spatula for even cooking (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add in the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in the beef broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce and allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni into the skillet and mix everything well, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it’s melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Plate the Cheeseburger Noodles and top with your favorite fixings like diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, or extra cheese. Enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using ground turkey or plant-based protein. Make sure the meat is Halal-friendly. Watch out for overcooking the pasta to maintain a chewy texture. Avoid adding too much liquid for a creamy consistency.
