Preparation
- Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spatula for even cooking (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add in the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, milk, and Worcestershire sauce and allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked macaroni into the skillet and mix everything well, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it’s melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Plate the Cheeseburger Noodles and top with your favorite fixings like diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, or extra cheese. Enjoy!
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider using ground turkey or plant-based protein. Make sure the meat is Halal-friendly. Watch out for overcooking the pasta to maintain a chewy texture. Avoid adding too much liquid for a creamy consistency.
