Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved Be sure to wash thoroughly and trim off wilted leaves.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the Brussels sprouts under cool water and pat them dry. Trim off the ends and cut the sprouts in half.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts cut-side down on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, checking halfway through to shake for even browning.
Serving
  1. Once they are crispy and golden, remove from the oven and serve immediately while hot!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add a sprinkle of paprika or chili flakes. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure proper roasting.
