Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing the zucchinis thoroughly.
  2. Slice them into half-moons about 1/4 inch thick for even cooking.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced zucchini to the hot skillet in a single layer. Allow them to cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes until they start to brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the zucchini is tender but still slightly crisp.
Serving
  1. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving for an extra touch.
  2. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!

Notes

Top Tips: For substitutions, add bell peppers or cherry tomatoes. Cook zucchini until just tender to maintain color and texture. Don’t overcrowd the skillet to avoid steaming.
