Preparation
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower head, cut it into florets, and rinse under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until fork-tender.
- Drain the florets completely to eliminate excess water.
- Transfer the drained florets to a mixing bowl. Add butter, cream cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper as necessary.
- Serve in a warm dish, optionally drizzling with olive oil or sprinkling with herbs.
Notes
For dairy-free options, substitute butter and cream cheese with olive oil or coconut cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
